The ACMP Agent servers to actively administer the clients on the server. The agent is required for the installation of the Avira product as well as for its central management.
Thus, the ACMP Agent secures the communication between the AVIRA product and the ACMP server.
At the same time, the ACMP Agent is also responsible for the allocation of Avira profiles (fixed as well as dynamic) and for the passing on of events (virus discovery, notifications, information, warnings) from the Avira product to the ACMP server.
